Are you a motivated and passionate qualified lawyer looking for a new position with the UK’s largest housing association? We are looking for a Contract attorney to join our legal team based in London.

In short, your role is to provide high quality proactive, solution-oriented legal advice and support in a wide variety of areas including procurement, commercial contracts, construction contracts, contract management, dispute resolution, commercial risk and governance for all internal clients.

Other main tasks include:

  • Advice on standard terms, NDAs, regulatory compliance, terminations and / or extension of commercial contracts.

  • Keep yourself updated on the constitutional, legal and regulatory framework in which housing associations operate and ensure that this knowledge is disseminated to foster an informed and compliance culture.

To be successful in this position, we need extensive experience from you as a qualified lawyer or barrister with good experience in commercial and contract law. You are well versed in the analysis of commercial law problems and have excellent negotiating skills. Work experience in a housing association or a public institution would be an advantage, but not mandatory.
