A contractor from Dundee has secured two new contracts valued at more than £ 10.8 million.
The contracts are with a consortium of housing associations in the north east of Scotland and a deal with the Falkirk Council.
Under the contract, a joint sourcing effort between housing companies Angus, Castlehill, Langstane and Osprey, McGill will complete a planned kitchen and bathroom replacement program over the next four years.
It also secured a multi-trade contract for the redevelopment of empty properties from the Falkirk Council.
Under the contract, McGill’s commercial division will redevelop hundreds of vacant properties owned by Falkirk Council. It will be worth up to £ 900,000 a year.
Recently, McGill’s also won contracts with the Clackmannanshire Council and the Viewpoint Housing Association.
McGill Managing Director Errol Lawrie commented, “McGill continues to have a great year and has already signed several new multi-million pound contracts. Our teams are very experienced in this type of work and I look forward to getting started and doing a great job for the four housing associations involved. “
Douglas Smith, Commercial Director at McGill added, “This is a testament to our reputation for all-trades expertise as we know that few Scottish contractors can match our range of services. McGill is growing at an impressive rate and with each new contract we lay the foundation for many years of success.
“We always knew that there would be a boom in the construction industry after the pandemic, and we are ideally positioned to meet the growing need for renovation specialists with a real all-round offer.”
