The following construction projects are expected to affect highways in Washington and surrounding counties in the coming weeks.

All work described is dependent on the weather.

¯ I-77 renovation – On I-77, between exits 6 and 16, a joint renovation and concrete repair project is taking place. The lane of I-77 North is closed. Estimated completion: August 1st.

¯ Signal / Fiber Modernization in Marietta City – A traffic light and fiber system project is underway at various intersections in Marietta City, including Putnam, Front, Third, Seventh, Greene, Pike and Acme Streets. Regular short-term daily lane closures are introduced. Estimated completion: June 30th.

¯ Traffic Light / Pedestrian Safety Improvement in Marietta City – A traffic light and pedestrian safety improvement project is underway in various locations in Marietta City, including: Fifth Street / Washington Street, Fifth Street / Garfield Avenue, Fifth Street / Wooster Street, Sixth Street / Warren Street, Sixth Street / Montgomery Street and North Seventh Street between Ephraim Cutler Street and Wooster Street. There will be regular daily road closures. Estimated completion: September 1st.

¯ Ohio 60 landslide – One lane off Ohio 60 is closed due to a landslide 1.5 miles south of Lowell. Temporary traffic lights and a 12 foot width restriction are in place. Estimated completion: August 1st.

¯ Ohio 821 landslide – One lane on Ohio 821 is closed due to a landslide between Buells Run (Township Road 86) and Peaker Run (Township Road 327). Temporary traffic lights and an 11 foot width restriction are in place. Estimated completion: July 1st.

¯ Ohio 555 Bridge Replacement – One lane of Ohio 555 is closed between Barton Road (Township Road 714) and Ohio 676 due to a bridge replacement project. Temporary traffic lights and an 11 foot width restriction are in place. Estimated completion: November 1st.

¯ Ohio 339 Bridge Repair – One lane on Ohio 339 is closed for a bridge repair project between Main Street (County Road 102) and Beebe Road (Township Road 511). The southern junction of County Road 102 is also closed. Temporary traffic lights and a 12 foot width restriction are in place. Estimated completion: June 11th.

NOBLE COUNTY

¯ Ohio 821 Tunnel Injection and Landslide Repair – An abandoned railroad tunnel injection and landslide repair project is underway on Ohio 821 between Tunnel Hill Road (County Road 59) and Corwin Road (Township Road 99). The road is closed until June 25th. The diversion from ODOT is Ohio 821 to Ohio 313 to I-77 to Ohio 821. 13, one lane is closed. A width restriction of 12 feet and temporary traffic lights will be put in place.

¯ Ohio 821 Culvert Project – A culvert construction project is underway at Ohio 821 in Noble County, between Ohio 339 and Main Street. The road will be closed from June 11th to July 2nd. The diversion from ODOT is Ohio 821 onto I-77 to Ohio 78 to Ohio 821. One lane will be closed and temporary traffic lights will be set up from July 3rd to October 3rd. 1.

¯ Pruning in Ohio 147 – A pruning project is underway on Ohio 147, between Ohio 313 and Ohio 513. This section is closed Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Estimated completion: June 11th.

Ohio 147 Bridge Project – One lane of Ohio 147 is closed between Edgewood Road (Township Road 33) and Ohio 313 for a bridge deck overlay project. Temporary traffic lights and an 11 foot width restriction are in place. Estimated completion: July 1st.

Ohio 146 Culvert Replacement – One lane of Ohio 146 is closed to a culvert replacement project between Roberta Cleary Road (189A Township Road) and Gould Ward Road (1104 Township Road). Temporary traffic lights and an 11 foot width restriction are in place. Estimated completion: July 1st.

MORGAN COUNTY

¯ Ohio 60 landslide repair – One lane of Ohio 60 is closed to a landslide repair project between Ohio 37 and Buttermilk Hill Road (Township Road 275). Temporary traffic lights and a width restriction of 14 feet are in place. Estimated completion: June 12th.

¯ Ohio 266 culvert project – A culvert construction project begins July 5th on Ohio 266, between Columbus Road (Township Road 80003) and Hanson Hill Road (Township Road 178). A lane is blocked. Temporary traffic lights and a 10-foot width restriction will be put in place. Estimated completion: Oct. 1.

¯ Ohio 284 Resurfacing – A resurfacing project is underway on Ohio 284, between Ohio 83 and the Muskingum County Line. The traffic is maintained by flags. Estimated end date of restriction: July 5th.

¯ Ohio 376 Resurfacing – A resurfacing project is underway on Ohio 376, between Ohio 266 and the Muskingum County Line. The traffic is maintained by flags. Estimated completion: September 10th.

MONROE COUNTY

¯ Ohio 537 landslide – One lane of Ohio 537 is closed due to a landslide between 307 Township Road and 73 Pleasant Ridge Road. Temporary traffic lights and a width restriction of 14 feet are in place. Estimated completion: 31.12.

¯ Ohio 260 landslide – One lane on Ohio 260 is closed due to a landslide between Merrill Ridge Road (County Road 105) and Witten Creek Road (County Road 15). Temporary traffic lights and a 12 foot width restriction are in place. Estimated completion: November 1st.

¯ County Road 29 Bridge Rehabilitation – A bridge rehabilitation project is underway at County Road 29 (Sunfish Creek Road), 0.85 miles east of Ohio 26. The road is closed. The detour is Ohio 26 to Altitude Miller Hill Road (County Road 6). Estimated completion: October 30th.

¯ Landslide Repair on County Road 81 – County Road 81 (Krebs Hill Road) is closed three miles west of Ohio 7 due to a landslide repair project. Estimated completion: June 11th.

¯ Siphon Replacement on County Road 88 – A culvert replacement project is taking place on County Road 88 (Old Camp Road) between Ohio 26 and the Monroe / Washington County Line. The street is closed Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Estimated reopening date: June 30th.

¯ Ohio 26 Resurfacing – A resurfacing project is underway on Ohio 26, between the Washington County Line and Ohio 537. The traffic is maintained by flags. Estimated end date of restriction: July 5th.
