DULUTH, MN – The Duluth construction is expected to have an impact on visitors to the downtown Essentia Health medical campus.

The city of Duluth’s upcoming utility and road improvement project will begin on April 28th and will be carried out in three phases that will last through October.

Due to recovery plans, patient drop-offs for the Essentia Health-Duluth and Duluth Clinic Second Street Buildings will be temporarily moved to the same-day surgery parking lot behind Essentia Health-Duluth on Sixth Avenue East between April 28 and May 21 .

Visitors to the Duluth Clinic First Street Building are encouraged to park at the City Ramp on First Street.

Patients and visitors went to Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center should park on the Red Ramp.

All other patients and visitors are asked to park on Essentia’s Green Ramp and remember that it is no longer accessible from Second Street.

Allow additional time for dropping off and picking up the patient.

Patients and visitors are asked to arrive early for all appointments on our campus in the city center.

The second phase is expected to begin in mid-July.
