Following its previous successful contract offers for lines 16 and 17 of the Grand Paris Express network, ENGIE Solutions – – through its subsidiaries AXIMA Concept (consortium leader) and INEO UTS – – and Eiffage have just received two orders through their subsidiary Eiffage Énergie Systèmes for the construction of the ventilation, smoke extraction and decompression system for the southern section of line 15 and the southern extension of line 14 as part of a consortium. The contracts have a total value of € 56 million and are to be broken down as follows: € 31 million for ENGIE Solutions and € 25 million for Eiffage Énergie Systèmes.

The southern section of Line 15 between Pont de Sèvres station and Noisy-Champs will be 33 km long and include 16 stations and 38 associated structures.

As for line 14, the operations that the Société du Grand Paris will carry out under the project management of the RATP include the 14 km underground extension (double-track single-tube tunnel) from Olympiades to Orly airport. This new section will contain 7 stations and 12 related structures.

These two contracts include the planning, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of the tunnel ventilation and decompression systems for the safety of passengers.

In addition to the technical requirements, the contract includes complex site logistics agreements in a dense urban environment on a very tight schedule.

In both projects, important environmental aspects must be taken into account in order to minimize the impact of the work. There is also a social dimension: the consortium is committed to supporting people in their professional integration and to working closely with SMEs.
