Ballyclare-based home builder Hagan Homes has started construction on an 18-house estate in east Belfast.

The construction phase of the £ 3.5 million program will create 28 jobs.

G Force Contracts will run the project on Newtownards Road, which will be completed in May 2022 when the first resident moves in.

The apartments will cost between £ 185,000 and £ 200,000 and benefit from the area’s thriving retail and dining scene, as well as the Connswater Greenway and Stormont Estate.

They will offer a range of smart applications including new Ember PS Smart Heating Control Systems, USB sockets and extensive electrical specifications including pre-wiring for BT and Sky +. The development will also provide EV charging points for electric cars.

Inside, residents can expect a high-quality modern kitchen, while ceramic floor tiles and integrated household appliances complete an appealing finish.
