HURRICANE, WVA (WSAZ) – A man who uses social media to promote his construction is charged Thursday for stealing money from several people.
According to the Hurricane Police Department, Jacob Meadows was charged with acting on false pretenses.
Several victims told law enforcement that Meadows took their money upfront and never came back. Others say he started the job, got money for supplies and never returned, says the Hurricane Police Chief.
Investigators say if you have information about Meadows or believe you may be a victim, call Detective J. Payne at 304-741-4872.
