This course is intended for architects, engineers, planners, consultants and healthcare facility workers to ensure the efficient planning, design, construction and maintenance of HVAC systems. In addition to the design and construction requirements, this standard contains requirements for the commissioning, operation, maintenance and monitoring of HVAC systems.

Infection control: Part 1: Fundamentals of infection control in building renovation and maintenance of health facilities, guided by a virtual instructor

Did you know that many hospitals in Canada require CSA infection control during construction training in order to participate in hospital construction and renovation projects? Don’t get caught without your certificate when it’s time to bid on a project. When you work in a multidisciplinary team (MDT) within a hospital, you can quickly understand which standards you need for CSA training.

National Model Building Regulations of Canada

The CSA Group now distributes the National Model Codes, User Manuals, and Commentaries published by the National Research Council of Canada (NRC).

The National Building Code (NBC), the National Fire Code (NFC), the National Plumbing Code (NPC) and the National Energy Code for Buildings (NECB) refer to numerous standards of the CSA Group. FREE National Energy Code for Building Training

The online training for the NECB 2017 is now available free of charge in the CSA Store in English and French. Promoting the knowledge and adoption of the NECB 2017 helps improve the energy efficiency of new buildings and helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

NECB 2017 – Contractor | online, 4 hours

This four-hour course is specially tailored to contractors and installers and simplifies selected requirements of the NECB 2017 in Section B, Parts 3-8. It provides details of the systems, components, and devices covered in Parts 3-8 to improve energy efficiency. It also clarifies the mandatory path, compromise path, and performance path requirements that are required or allowed within the NECB requirements.

This online course was created for designers, modelers, engineers and architects. It focuses on the specific requirements of the NECB 2017 in Section B, Parts 3-8, and describes systems, components and devices that are covered in Parts 3-8 for energy efficiency.
