16 employers are expected to attend the event on Saturday and replicate the model used in the state

REDMOND, Ore. (KTVZ) – WorkSource Oregon is hosting a construction and manufacturing site drive-through event with 16 employers at its Redmond offices on Saturday.

“We are replicating the drive-thru recruitment event model that has been successful in other WorkSource centers across the state,” said Demsey Beamish, a business specialist at WorkSource Central Oregon. “Our goal is to increase awareness of the positions currently open in construction and manufacturing in central Oregon.”

Meet with local employers from the comfort of your car including Webfoot Painting, Endura, Keith Manufacturing, Scott’s Roofing, the Oregon National Guard, Central Oregon Kitchen Coordination, Heating & Cooling, Nosler, Pahlisch Homes, Republic Services and Hayden Homes, Brightwood Corporation , Mikes Zaunzentrum and BASX.

Resources from WorkSource programs are also available to the participants.

You can drive through these days to get almost anything and now you can drive through to get a job !!

A walk-up option is available for people without transport.

What to bring: Please bring your Face covering (strongly requested), your best pitch and several copies share your résumé with multiple employers!

Around 16 employers will attend the event.
